Bükk Mountains, Hungary (Bükk Gebirge, Ungarn) (Bükk-hegység, Magyarország) 10.2011.

In October, I made a very short trip in the Bükk mountains and I also found some spiders there. The places I visited: Közép-Garadna, where I searched for spiders under stones, and Jávorkút, where I found some under the fallen leaves in a mixed forest.

This female Cybaeus angustiarum is a relative of the Water Spider, as they both belong to the Cybaeidae family.
Ez a nőstény tárnapók (Cybaeus angustiarum) a vízipók rokona, mindketten a Cybaeidae családba tartoznak.

The male of Metellina merianae. This species belongs to the long-jawed spider family and it is usually found in caves and under stones.
A rejtett keresztespók (Metellina merianae) hímje.

A scaffold web spider, Nesticus cellulanus. These spiders usually live under stones and in caves. There are some endemic species of this genus in the Carpathians, but only this cosmopolitan species is known from Hungary.
A takácspók (Nesticus cellulanus, takácspókok családja).

A Drapetisca socialis female. This Linyphiid spider is usually found under tree bark in summer, but in autumn they are between the fallen leaves on the ground. Its common name is Invisible Spider because it sits in its delicate web motionless and its body colour and banded legs makes it very hard to see. It gained its latin name because many specimens are often found together under tree barks.

It is easy to recognise this species by its characteristic epigyne. This is the external genital structure of the females and its form is really important in determining spiders. Each species has a different epigyne.
Alulról is könnyű felismerni jellegzetes ivarfedőjéről (epiginum).

A male Histopona torpida from the so-called Araneomorph funnel-web spider family. In this picture the specialised structure of male pedipalps is visible. Spiders use these organs for copulation. The form of the palp also varies between different species. By this species, a long organ is visible that stands out from the palp, that is the embolus.
Ennek a formája szintén fajonként eltérő.

Subadult spiders (those that need one last moult to become adult) have swollen, undifferentiated palps:

Malthonica ferruginea male from the same family:
A hegyi zugpók hímje (Malthonica ferruginea) ugyan abból a családból:

And two linyphiid spiders for the end that live in leaf litter. This is the male of Tenuiphantes cristatus:
Végül két avarlakó vitorláspók. Ez a Tenuiphantes cristatus hímje:

And this is probably Tenuiphantes flavipes:
